Tamara Grcic
Tamara Grcic (born in 1964 in Munich) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Grcic works alternately with installation, photography and film. In a recent work developed for the Opelvillen in Russelsheim, entitled Have you been here before, the artist converted the entire house into a resonant body for sound that consisted primarily of voice. Tamara Gricic studied art history from 1983 to 1986 in Vienna, and Cultural Anthropology from 1986 to 1988 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main. She studied film at the Städelschule and graduated in 1993. She is a professor of sculpture at the Kunsthoschule Mainz.
The Dialogs are initiated by Adrian William and the Doctoral Studies Program of the HfG Offenbach. The talks will be in English.
