Open Call for Artworks and Performances

We are excited to announce this open call for artworks and performances within the »Correlations — Forum for AI in Art and Design«. Correlations Forum aims to explore the integration of AI and robotics into artistic practices and discussions, providing a platform for innovative artworks and stimulating exchanges of ideas. 

We invite students from all collaborating KITeGG universities (Hochschule Mainz, Hochschule Trier, Köln International School of Design (TH Köln), HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, HfG Offenbach,) to submit artwork proposals until 01.10.2024. ​Selected artists will show their work in a group exhibition at University of Art and Design Offenbach am Main during the 2024 Correlations Forum from 11.12. - 13.12.2024.

Conditions of participation:

The following is required for submission: 

• you must be enrolled at one of the KITeGG universities (HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, HfG Offenbach am Main, HS Mainz, HS Trier, KISD Köln).

• a concise, meaningful and well-comprehensible project description (up to 1000 characters).

• 3-5 images of your work (the images must be freely and unrestrictedly usable for internal and external press work).

• a short list of the technical means required for the production.

• brief biography and contact details.

• supplementary materials may be submitted using a file hosting service of your choice. Please include a non-expiring link in your email. 

Complete applications may be submitted until 1 October 2024, 23:59 CEST via email at aic@hfg-offenbach.de with email subject “Open Call Correlations 2024”, submission in a PDF File up to 10 mb. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the selection process.

Selection procedure

The selection committee is made up of students, professors and associate researchers at University of Art and Design Offenbach. 

Invitations are sent out by mid-October 2024.
