The poster marking the 17th HfG Open Day (2014) designed by students Anne Krieger and Tim Jüdemann, the poster series and the communications concept for the Festival junger Talente 2014  (Festival of Young Talents) 2014 by HfG student Richard Pruss and the posters »Bücherverbrennung« (Book Burning) and »Verstrickt in Widersprüche« (Caught up in Contradictions) designed Prof. Sascha Lobe for events at the HfG have won a »Certificate of Typographic Excellence« at the Type Directors Club New York (TDC) competition. The students were supervised by Sascha Lobe, Professor of Typography at HfG Offenbach, who received a further seven TDC awards for designs by his company L2M3.

This year 272 winners were selected from over 1600 entries from 49 countries. Besides being exhibited in New York City, the winners will also be included in 7 exhibitions that will tour cities in the United States, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
