Florian Albrecht-Schoeck, born 1980 in Darmstadt, artist, lives and works in Offenbach am Main. He graduated with a Diplom degree from the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main. He works mainly with the medium of photography (analog, digital and virtual). His artistic focus is often on the search for the definition of roots, identity, origin and belonging — in the context of society, politics, and individuality. His images are part of renowned art collections such as the Deutsche Börse Art Collection and the Museum of Art and Cultural History in Marburg.
Teaching
Florian Albrecht-Schoeck supports and consults students in their artistic work and projects in seminars and individual meetings. His focus is on supporting students in developing personal artistic position, developing their own concepts and projects, strategies for self-presentation as an artist and supporting free artistic exploration of the medium of photography.
