National Professor of Printmaking, graduated from the National University of the Arts (UNA) in 2002. Specialized in printmaking at Tamarind Institute, University of New Mexico in 2011.
Recently, she worked as a teacher in charge of the printmaking courses of levels I, II and IV at the Manuel Belgrano Visual Arts Faculty. In addition, since 2016, she has served as Professor and coordinator of the Workshop for Research and Experimentation in Lithography, Museo de la Cárcova, UNA, being also responsible for the restoration and enhancement of that workshop.
In the artistic field, she has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the National Museum of Engraving in Argentina with her exhibition
»A donde van las piedras« in 2023. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Reina Sofia Museum, the London Original Print Fair, and FIG Bilbao.
She has contributed significantly to the field of printmaking and the graphic arts, with publications in »AI & Society«, »Printmaking Today«, and »Grapheion«, among others.
In addition, she has been a speaker at international conferences and seminars at venues such as the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Senefelder Foundation in Germany.
Lorena Pradal has played a crucial role in the organization and coordination of artistic events, such as the 1st International Lithography Encounter at UNA and has been a juror in biennials and salons.
Since the winter semester 2024/25, Lorena Pradal has been a teacher for special tasks in the field of Fine Art Printin at the HfG Offenbach.
