Prof. Sascha Lobe (born 1967) lives and works in Stuttgart. He studied at Pforzheim University under Prof. Uwe Lohrer. During and after his studies he worked for various design studios in Stuttgart, Berlin and Karlsruhe. In 1999, he founded the communications design studio L2M3. To date, the studio has handled projects amongst others for Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin, Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Adidas, Hatje Cantz, Hugo Boss and Daimler AG.
In recent years, Sascha Lobe and L2M3 have won over a 100 prizes at the national and international levels, including the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in Gold, Type Directors Club New York, IF Award Gold, Red Dot Award, Joseph Binder Award, DDC Grand Prix, Gold ADC of Europe as well as ADC Deutschland. His works are to be found in various renowned design collections, such as Neue Sammlung in Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne and Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. Sascha Lobe has been a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2009.
He has been Professor of Typography at HfG Offenbach since summer semester 2010.
