Susanne Eickemeier has been Chancellor of HfG Offenbach since July 2014. Before that she was Acting Director of the Department of Non-University Research at the Hessen State Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK). In the course of her career, Dr. Susanne Eickemeier has worked in university and research-related contexts for close to 20 years, for example advising applicants in the LOEWE-office of the HMWK, midwifing projects and evaluations, and moving the LOEWE program forward. Previously she worked as a consultant for research and higher education development and as the PA to the Vice President of Goethe University Frankfurt, where she was responsible for consultations (subsidy programs, applications for grants), planning (Excellence Initiative), knowledge transfer and setting up businesses, as well as strategic promotion of research and young talents. She further gained experience in research, teaching and the setting up of businesses as the project director of the Route A66 founders network at Goethe University Frankfurt, as a academic research assistant and as a lecturer in Frankfurt and Lyon.
