»Greetings earthlings, my name is Sebastian Haslauer and I am an artist living in the land of fantasy. Until the world finally acclaims my genius I earn my potatoes doing illustrations for various clients such as Arte, Das Erste, Nike and Metzgerei Stutterbeck. With my friends from Shake Your Tree I publish art-books and fanzines, exercising a correlation between the visual arts and literature. Sometimes I rap, but only when specific people force me to. I like Italo Disco, elephants, waffles, Juliane Bayer, 7, the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and angebrannten Käse aus der Auflaufform rauskratzen. I have good ideas, such as inventing remote controlled locks for bikes or open a gym in a cinema. I can't skate, but if I could, I would skate down the Solomon R. Guggenheim museum (spiral fun) and do a nosegrind on every Matthey Barney piece lying around. I would love to own a dishwasher. Worldwide fame, prosperity and immortality would also be great.« Sebastian Haslauer

»I (Frank Höhne) was born in (east)Berlin but my family escaped the former GDR by occupying the westgerman embassy in Prague. This was in 1985 and we ended up in Wesel, a small town in the Ruhrgebiet where i grew up. In 2001 I started studying Communication-Design in Essen and in 2005 I came back to Berlin to do my diploma 2009 at the Berlin Weissensee school of art. I always had my focus on illustration courses, that´s why I have no skills in design. Apart from illustrating I am very much into my family life with my girlfriend and daughter. I adore classic rock anthems or folk when it comes to music. Classic stuff from Journey to Neil Young. I also like to do my own music, I am playing guitar since I was a kid and now I bought a piano. I really like being an auto-didact in exploring this fascinating planet, never loosing the kids-spirit and methods of making this world and its struggle with it somehow work for me.« Frank Höhne
