On 13 November, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Deutscher Designer Club (DDC) two new volumes of the "DDC Designbibliothek" series were presented in the Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt/Main. For the publication "Identifying Design" Prof. Peter Eckart contributed the article "Studying Design: Change Remains".
In the volume "Identifying Design" the DDC asks about the standing of design today and tomorrow. In the second volume, the "DDC Almanach", the very first designers and those that paved the way for the DDC get to speak. they look back at the history of DDC since it was founded on 1 November, 1989 .
