Since 1933 there have been various intensive discussions with the Nazi state and its leading representatives. The behaviour of the protagonists and the handicraft objects produced or presented in the Offenbach houses bear witness to this.

Besides HfG President Prof. Bernd Kracke, Mayor of Offenbach, Felix Schwenke, and Dr. Andreas Hansert, representatives of the other institutions were also present at the book presentation: Dr. Inez Florschütz, Director of the Leather Museum, the Director of the Klingspor Museum, Dr. Stefan Soltek and the Director of the House of City History, Dr. Jürgen Eichenauer. Since 2014, an HfG working group has also accompanied the process of the reappraisal, including Prof. Dr. Kai Vöckler, Prof. Dr. Marc Ries, Christa Scheld and Claus Withopf.

On Tuesday, 8 October 2019, at 7 p.m., Dr. Hansert will once again present the results of his work in a lecture in the city council meeting room of Offenbach's town hall.
