HfG Annual Report 2015

Once again the focus of the Annual Report is on the diploma project and various other projects of the last two semesters. In addition, new colleagues are welcomed, and we take leave of others. A further component is a DVD featuring short films, animations and documentations by students, some of which have received several international awards. As a supplement readers can enjoy the lecture »From Design Turn to Project Turn«, held by Gui Bonsiepe at Offenbach University of Art and Design during the “re/set” symposium.

Every year a different student team designs the HfG Annual Report. This year Richard Pruss assisted by Anne Krieger conceived the design and also created the image for the related 18th HfG Tour. The project was supervised by Sascha Lobe, Professor of Typography at HfG Offenbach. The starting point taken for the design: free lines that eventually morph into letters and define areas that are filled with colour. Accordingly, the cover of the Annual Report but also the posters, invitations, folding plans and flags for our Open Day fluctuate between abstraction and figuration, are both graphics and text information.​
